 The New York City Police Anchor Club, branch No. 1 began on April 22, 1922 by members of the New York City Police Department who were also members of the Knights of Columbus. We are a 501(c)(3) organization that provides the Widows and Children of the N.Y.P.D. with support and activities throughout the year. The New York City Police Anchor Club is known as the “Club with a Heart”. We are sure that you would be very satisfied seeing the smiles of the widows and children during these events.

As a direct result of our fundraising efforts we are able arrange some of the following activities for the widows and their children:

 NY Aquarium Outing 

 a day of fun at Coney Island 

 NY Mets Game

NY Aquarium

 Christmas Tree Lighting at Rockefeller Center 

 Ice skating at Rockefeller Center 

 Children’s Christmas Party 

 a family day of fishing on the Captain Jim II 

 

We ask that you please consider a donation to our organization. Any monetary contributions will be used towards offsetting our cost for the many events we arrange for our widows and children.
